Inspired by my mother, father, grandmas, and aunts.... gardening is just in my DNA. For the past 3 years my husband and I have gradually turned mort of our yard into a fabulous food farm. Can't wait to get this years crop underway. I have already started seeds for basil, brussel sprouts, black beans, tomatoes, peppers, and cilatro. Yes, I am very impatient. I will be sure to post pictures of this years garden as it progresses. The tomatoes have just sprouted on my window sill and the greenhouse at school is kickin!
Gardening goals for this week:
- repot more tomatoes in the greenhouse
- repot the brussel sprouts in the window - getting huge!
- continue to admire the baby purple hyacinths popping up
- plant a few more pepper seeds
Great advice to help you start some tomatoes right now = Renee's Garden I also love this site to help me remember the names of flowers as I see them (and obsessively photograph them) = Spring Flowers
